Other then the size of the monitor what the difference between a laptop and notebook pc , now I do know they have a big difference in price but other then that is it what is it ? thanks

Notebook do not have CD/DVD Drive the Laptops have those , plus some extra ports ....

A Notebook and a laptops is the same thing, just different name for a portable computer. Netbooks are little different and so are tablets but as mentioned these are two names, one old and one new for the same thing.

Yeah they dont have the drives it's a pain. I bought my 7 year old one....you cant play any dvds have to copy them to a flash drive that sucks. Makes it complicated when you need to load something by cd....or if you need to run a back up cd.. You have to buy a external dvd drive that connects to usb. WHen you think about it...you spend 350-400 for a network you can get a fully fuctional laptop for 500$ so if it was me I get a laptop....

agreed speed, my notebook crached because of a virus and i had to get a friend to load xp but it was a pain with no drive. had to load it onto a flashstick along with some other programs for it to work. it worked but what a pain!!

set bios to boot from usb ;)
