Just wondering if this is happening to other people? This is the equipment I have and also what I have done.
Equipment, Dreamlink T5, Dreamlink HD, Dreamlink T4.
TV's tried on are 3 Samsung Smart tv's, RCA, and ONN.
3 different internet providers S##w, T@@us, and Star L**k. All are showing same results. My sister and sister inlaw are having similar issues with Samsung tv's and dreamlink receivers. No picture or sound when tv blacks out.
What I have done, changed power supply, HDMI cables, disabled cec on samsung tv's, changed 720p to 1080i on receiver. When I stream tv content or use the usb for a movie the tv is fine. All tv's use HDMI cables.
The signal strength is in the 80 to 90+ percent. I don't think it is the switch since this is happening on other locations. Any feed back would help to solve this. Thanks Cap.

There was a batch of T4-5's with a bad/wonky HDMI Port, so many of us who have that problem had to use
an converter of some kind, either AV-To-HDMI or Component-To-HDMI, if you hook-up with component cables
it doesn't do the Black-out stuff same with AV hook-up

Hooked up component cables. Will try for awhile if this will work. Will let everyone know if it fixes the problem.

I have the same thing I believe it's the Samsung tv an issue with the communication with HDMI between the tv and dreamlink . Component cable should solve the issue or get a sony tv LOL

I hooked up the component cables and that seemed to work. I believe it is either the hdmi port or the hdmi encoder chip which is under the heat sink. I am leaning towards the chip itself.
