Connection issue

I'm at a hotel in Mexico and trying to connect to the hotel internet. Says internet is connected in the settings but when I try to load my server says cannot load portal. when I go to the settings in the E5 and try and input the hotel password it won't let me go there when I click on the hotel wifi. Any ideas? I also tried to use the hotspot on my phone with no luck. Is there a possibility the hotel can block me?

try using a browser on your box first to connect

i find now hotels use 2 internet connections free one that is limited and a paid one that is open for any device
