The new firmware update V20240202 caused my Classic to freeze up onto the Buzzlogo at startup and nothing i did could fix it until I did a factory reset.
Now that I have it going again, the new firmware update wants to install but fails and kicks me back to the home screen. I have done multiple restarts and still won't update. Any help appreciated.

When you say you did factory reset, was it the hardware factory reset (with PIN method) ? If not, I would strongly recommend do that one.

in app permissions/storage is buzztv enabled?

Yep I did the toothpick in the AV hole trick and it worked great. Did factory reset that way. Now here is the crazy thing. The darn update just went through and seems to have loaded properly. Just because I decided to post here? lol. I 'll post an update.

UPDATE.

All is good. I have no idea why but the new firmware update downloaded and all seems good once again. Thanks peeps.

it could have been a heavy load on ota server earlier
