I have old Vizio TV the remote pairs OK but I can't get volume to work any suggestions would be great Thx

That's a problem I don't have the visio remote when I do the auto it shows it's a vizio but the volume bar never shows up. Says to the right code 1 of 0.TV works but volume is too loud.
Maybe time to buy generic remote walmart.

your tv has no volume control buttons?

No as far as I can tell. I'm at temp. living place for next 4 months tv came with studio.

I dont think it connected You can also try Sony and see if one of those codes works

Has only on off / menu for input change. Thanks for help I'll buy universal remote.

Have you tried to turn off the "Force max volume" ? From Home screen, settings-->BuzzTV Utilities-->Volume Control.

This will allow the box to output variable sound volume and control how loud the volume going to the TV is. So if TV is stuck at a high volume, this would be perfect.

Yes tried that max also, ended up buying universal phillips at Target works now.
