It’s on frequency 11250 , no signal on 12253 v 20000, no signal but channels still come in(aside from the said missing ones). I tried changing the frequency, the signal came in but lost all channels, so i put it back. Tried to change the transponder until the signal came in but didn’t make a difference, so i put it back as well.

As one final comment. If I make the TP change (to SR21500 and mode turbo) on TP 12268, I now get fox news in SD on channel 507. No rescan needed. This is on a jynxbox. The same tweak does not seem to work on a dreamlink. But don't have time to play with it right now. So it does appear to be a receiver config issue, not a server issue.

So… I have Jyxbox. Unfortunately I did a factory default and rescan. So I lost Fox News channel 507. When I make the changes u suggest, I do get signal. But when I rescan that transponder, no channels come in.

yes in most cases, but they maybe moving channels from SD=91 to HD=82 possibly ? not exactly sure on it.

OK, I'm not up-to-date with the history aspect; this came from very recent discussions pertaining to the recent Bell policies regarding layoffs, possible sales of radio stations and other internal topics. Reference was made once again to the potential for CRTC involvement and recent on-air discussions during some Foxnews talk shows which gave a fair bit of air time to certain Canadian government policies (which I am not going to get into here). I am only attempting to provide some info. for those who appear to be concerned about not being able to view the station as of this time. We shall see how it plays out.

I have tried ALL the different settings changes I could find, "NO CHANGE YET" on the T5 for missing channels
Will just have to wait it out, hopefully someone will have a solution to this problem etc.

Sat9182 you definitely have pic on the Jynxbox? I hope that incorrect because might mean bins are needed and that's not happening for the VS for sure and most likely not the DL either.

your going to see 82 get phased out its at end of life and there contract is over for it they extended it for couple years i believe but they are going to be moving all to 91

they are making sd mpeg-4 for a reason to save space and bandwidth make some room to move all the hd over to 91

that's why you will see any stations they have in hd and sd the sd will go away so they don't have duplicate channels

the ones they dont have in hd will stay sd just in mpeg-4 format

Figured it out. Once I made the changes the channels came up. The trick here is not to delete the channels or factory your Jynxbox. Just make the changes, never mind the scan and watch the missing channels. To bad the DL wasn't this easy.

Now why would you say that? Like I said, they wouldnt scan. What I did was I changed the effected transponders to 21.500 and then changed mode to Turbo. Watching Fox news as I type. Quit being an a...ole and try it yourself.

1225 44 hour EPG 1522 9 day EPG. I think 1225 is TP12428. On the Viewsat's only way to get an EPG is native 225, 44 hour only.

i don't have a Jynxbox, but most boxes it's located in the Dish settings list, under transponder # where you bring up

A transponder list 1-32 this is where you can edit the transponder etc.

So you will need to re-scan the dead TP's using 21500 SR, 3/4A FEC and in TUBO8PSK mode. In manual scan on that STB if I remember correctly.

Agreed. Unfortunately I did a factory default. And when u try rescan.. u get nothing. Luckily I had an old jyxbox, and when I did the changes, 12500 and turbo.. most all channels are working. . I guess the next question is how do you transfer the channel data from one box to another?

I have noticed that the Jynxbox is not getting a 7 day EPG. Anyone recall it it was posable before the recent changes?

I only pull the Jynxbox out today was using Dreamlink.

I don't understand, where do I change "to turbo 8psk" and what is "21500 2/3a", I'm not a technical person so you will have to walk me through it.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated, as I just resubscribed and wasn't told or aware of these new problems with IKS, had I known I would have probably gone a different route. I'm a "play'n go", I have no techinical skills and at my age now it's just about watching tv.

Bev is doing a whole mess of changes/testing as of Now (MPEG 2 to MPEG 4 & others) for provider IRD's that may not be a problem on the EPG & Such, But for FTA Boxes it would be a problem cause they can't Auto adjust to the changes being made
without updated software/firmware possibly, case in point the DL-HD-T5 looks like it's DOA OR DITW=(dead in the water)

you have to change ALL Sat. 91 TP's 1-19 using 21500 SR, 3/4A FEC and in TUBO8PSK mode

I don't have a Jynxbox but it should be located in Dish settings heading under Transponder # bring up a list of 1-32 Transponder #'s this is where you should be able to edit each TP # as stated.

Read post #101 which apply's to all FTA Boxes that the TP's can be changed, for the time being, with whats happening currently

In the Jynxbox it is only necessary to change the mode from QPSK to TUROB and the symbol rate from 20000 to 21500.

Do this under manual scan, RED button for edit TP.

So, as of now, the only 2 receivers that 'may' work are the Jynxbox V6 and the sonicview 8000? A few friends and I all have DL HD or T5's so I've been looking around for replacements seeing that the DL boxes may be doorstops soon......
I came across a Viewsat 9000HD but thought I'd ask here first to be sure.
Also, are the HD boards in the DL receivers good for either of those boxes?

AT this "CURRENT TIME" That I & others like sat.9182, Jets, etc. have posted is the FTA RECEIVERS Currently WORKING
with TP Changes etc. are the JYNXBOX, SV8000HD, haven't see/heard of any other boxes listed that work "YET"
This is a work in progress, again whether this lasts or not is anybody's "BEST GUESS"

I am no tech on this FTA Stuff, just trying to help where I can, & pass-on info where needed.

I've done a bunch of messing around, and I can confirm that best I can tell, my ViewSat 9000HD (which has the 8PSK module installed) can not tune into the new/changed transponders, even after editing the symbol rate and modulation.

If anyone with more technical knowledge of this stuff than me has any insight into why none of the existing receivers except the Jynxbox seem to be able to handle these changes, I'd be very curious to hear it.

Yes, The viewsat max hd and 9000 hd will not tune the new TP's. Sonicview 8000hd will with just a sat rescan.

I've just got a "Junxbox" in today from AliExpress, and can confirm that it seems to be working after manually making the changes. It doesn't even seem to let you manually set the FEC, and it takes while to gain lock (like 15 seconds,) so it seems to just be trying everything it can until it finds one that works.

If you have a Junxbox from Ali it's missing a few TPs on 91 from the factory and you have to re-add them. Check LyngSat list against your box's list to be sure, but I think it's 12370V/21500/8PSK, 12457H/21500/8PSK, 12282V/21500/8PSK, and 12457V/21500/QPSK. I think 2 or 3 of those have channels on them so they're not just useless.

On Sat 91W, I am not getting signals for TP 12224 to 12414 and 12457, 12472, and 12486. However, getiing signals for TP 12428 to 12676. As per
www.lyngsat.com, Bell changes symbol rate for all these channels from 20000 to 21500 and and transmission to "Turbo 8PSK" (using Dreamlink T5). After changing the symbol rate and transmission still no luck. No signals for those TP yet. Does anybody know anything else to resolve this issue?

Yes Dreamlinks are Toast or Basically Door stops, they can't handle the TP changes with-out
Software/Firmware updates, & that isn't about to happen anytime Soon or ever.

For the Dreamlink you are S.O.L. They are Door Stops Now, can't handle the changes with-out Software/firmware updates
and that isn't Going to happen anytime Soon. The Jynxbox can handle the changes, TP's 1-thru-19 need to be changed

I have not had my local news channel CKPG since the changes, I am using the jynx box and have done all the changes as mentioned ie: v to h and 21500 and turbo. I scan the tp on 91 and tells me "no program" very good S&Q on both 91 and 82 for this channel of course 82 gives me sound but no picture that has not changed. note: the tp for 91 is 12239/H/21500. Am I missing something trying to get it to come in ?? Could the channel have been dropped from the providers card? I would like to get my local news channel back, is this possible? should I contact sat9182 to answer this question? Thanks in advance for any help you could provide me.

After spending several hours deleting double channels on SV8K and rescanning a couple times, 507 finally came up on TP12326 H setting (not V). Double channels were coming up on TP12311 and TP12326.

On my SV8000 All the TP Pol's are set to AUTO, Also I don't know if this has anything to do with it but

Just talked to my neighbor again. Went in and looked at her setup. She found fox on TP12326, 21500 KS/s, Horizontal and turbo. After she changed the settings she did a manual scan on that TP only, I saw it, it's working with a full screen on her 55" flat screen. The picture quality is much better than on the other TP. I haven't tried it yet on my Junxbox Premium HD but most likely will work the same.

Look Sat. 82 is on it's way "OUT" a lot of the channels on 82 are being moved to Sat.91
That's why all the TP Changes & so-forth, the OEM Receivers (Bev) can handle it because it's Built-in
Most of the FTA Receivers "CAN'T" Handle the New Changes, without Firmware/software updates/rewrites
And that "ISN'T" Going to Happen anytime "Ever" because Support dried up LONG-AGO
So get used to it and Enjoy What We Have Left, "TILL IT ENDS" (IKS)

My neighbor has Fox News on her Jynxbox and I have it on my Junxbox. Ill take a picture and post it if you'd like. Fox news has a tendency to freeze. It wouldn't come in on the Junxbox for quite some time...about 1/2 hour after the TP change. If you're missing channels after the change from V to H can't you add the same TP back with V instead of H and scan it to get those chanels back?

I know hers is a Jynjbox V3 but in the information menu it says V26. I don't know if that makes a difference from one version to another.

I checked lyngsat too and yes it still says 12268...lyngsat isn't always correct. I never had fox on full screen, it was always cropped a bit. Now it's full screen and a very much better "HD" kind of picture quality. It does freeze quite frequently. I notice that early morning and late evening it doesn't freeze nearly as much.

With all the different versions & all the clone variations, it's ENTIRELY possible some will work an some will not.You have original Jynx ending at version 3, clones from version 4 to 30, and now clones of clones (Junxbox).You think they're identical?lol.

If you'd read my posts you would have seen that this is my neighbors jynxbox. I don't have a jynxbox I have a Junxbox and it's working too. If I took a pic of my setup you might say that it's the same pic as in my previous post. The Junxbox and the Jynxbox have the same user interface. I was trying to show you that it's working on HER Jynxbox. My setup is irrelevant because I DONT HAVE A JYNXBOX!

I found out the hard way last night that you can't delete channels you can only change the TP to SR 21500, Turbo8PSK. If you scan those TP's they will not scan in the channels. So do not delete any channels. Now is a good time to back up JB channel list if your is intact.

I mean channel list types between different Jynxbox STB, so have different file extensions. A JB channel list might not be compatible with a JB Lite channel list.

You can upload any file list you like as long as you put it in the correct STB file thread and declare what box it's for. If the end user download the incorrect file (file extension) that's their problem, plus the box more than likely would not load the file anyway.

The newer Bin files on the Jynbox 239 & up "SEEM" to have issues on this topic, when I had my jynxbox V3 (sold it)I was using
Bin 237 and didn't have the TP issues as mentioned ? Also the HD Module was a real problem as well.

I actually made a small but maybe big step in identifying the problem. I took my channel list with the non working 91 channels and opened it up in the Jynxbox channel editor. Problem is I think the editor is from the original Jynxbox team not the clone group.

However I was able to read the file and I noticed that a value called a "ONID" in the TP's that don't work, the value was 0 and in the working TP's the value was 256. So I made the edit and loaded it back in to my Jynxbox Lite and it bricked that box. Lucky I was able to bring the box back with the special RS232 cable that box uses 9 pin serial on one end and 3.5mm stereo jack on the STB end.

Here is an attachment of the cable needed for that box but I suspect it comes with it when you got it new.30187

So I think the Jynxbox Editor clone killed my device but not before I was able to see a possible issue. If we could edit that channel dump file we might be able to fix it. I will take another go at it tomorrow night see if I can get it to work with editor somehow?

I know this might sound weird but out of boredom I was randomly entering LNB frequencies and now I have a signal of 97 and quality of 95. My settings are as follows
LNB Power - ON
LNB Type - single
LNB Frequency - 11.050 (manually entered on T5)
LNB 22KHZ - on
Is it possible that just entering the correct frequency manually might solve this problem? I have been at it for a couple hours now just to get this far. Or am I wasting my time?

I haven't found the combination yet, its quite tedious making the manual entry then going back out and in and changing and checking but Im trying.

T5 Dreamlink. Im changing the frequency manually by 5 and only found the one combo that increases the signal strength and quality. I am working my way down in numbers now. even though it is showing the increase on the settings page, it is not changing when on the guide while on one of the missing channels. I might be wasting my time but you never know. if I get higher S/Q then I go up/down by single digits on frequency. so its time consuming.
