If I was to pick up one of these, what am I looking for to see if it can get HD? I've only ever used the DL boxes. Even if I have to open it up to see wha'ts inside.
Thanks

You will also need a Dongle or Wiz-board for either-net/internet to make it work.

for HD Module you would want this one: hxxps://www.aliexpress.com/item/645365028.html

Since the IHUB's are pretty much S.O.L. or non-existent, you can still get these: hxxps://docs.wiznet.io/Product/S2E-Module/WIZ110SR

You can PM Me on one if interested.

Seems like way more work than the Dreamlinks are to install the HD boards. Open up, pop in board and good to go.

the SV8000HD is One of the first Receivers that came out WAY BACK WHEN, I am amazed that it is STILL Functional/working
even with all the changes that are going on. And yes this receiver takes a bit of getting used to or making it Operational
Like DU said 1-part for HD 1-PART for IKS, & SOFTWARE/FIRMWARE for Both, and a Learning curve as well.
