Not sure how a Linkbox works but is there a heading that lists ALL the TP #'s under Sat. 91, you need to be able to edit
the TP #'s or bring up a TP List on screen (12224,12253,12268, so-on etc. 32-TP #'s ) have to edit # 1-threw-19

When I go to do a tp search it does give me an option for paid scan and when I go into manual scan it shows a value of 8190 for all 3 setting gs which are video audio and pcr but I am not sure what that is or if its even relevant
Does the linkbox have a manual scan? If so go in there and change the symbol rate to 21500 and mode to TUROB8PSK. Does it get signal? Make the changes to all the TP's on 91 with no signal and save.

It allows me to change the rate the frequency and the polarity that's it

May have to wait and see if someone uploads a modified program
No one is writing a new bin for that box so if you hold your breath you will suffocate...
Somewhere in the box you can edit the mode. Are you looking in manual scan, what scan options does the box offer?

The only scan options are the one I mentioned other than the satellite search scan for channels and that only let's you normal scan or blind scanlon the tp list and search it only allows me to change frequency symbol rate and polarity unless there is a hidden screen somewhere

You have to be able to change the FEC to 3/4A if your not able to do so on "ANY FTA RECEIVER" (except Jynxbox)
Then you are SOL or DOA or DITW (Dead in the Water)

it’s like auggie said the FEC needs to be 3/4A and if you can’t change it to that then i feel the box won’t see the bird. guess more thought went into the sonicview 8000 because mine is running with no problems.

So will the sonic view still work with 91 after 82 goes down do you think? Just asking before I start looking at changing equipment or do you have any suggestions

It is "Currently" working with the changes, All depends if Bev Continues to make changes a long the way or down the road
I can't say how long the SV8000 will last or advise you otherwise, most have moved on to IPTV (STREAMING)
I guess it depends on how much $$$ do you or I want to through at this "HOBBY" or TESTING/GAME as I have stated Before ?
You pays your $$$ and TAKE YOUR CHANCES, We are not owed anything in return, it has been a Long Ride already.

What I found when doing the TP Changes on my SV8000HD was first I changed the symbol=21500 then I
Changed the Mode to Turbo 8psk that's when the 3/4A Would show up for the FEC. Had to make sure to change
the Mode (Turbo 8psk) & the symbol 21500 "FIRST" before the Fec 3/4A would show itself/up.
Don't know weather this way of doing it/setup will work on any other Boxes, but maybe worth a try/shot
Just passing the info on thanks

im pretty sure the only two boxes handing all the changes are the 8000 and jynx. the FEC which is 3/4A is the real problem with these other boxes. just seems that the software just dont know what the 3/4A FEC is :noidea:
