That would depend on if it's a clone or not, what version it is, as far as I recall any Jynxbox after V3 is a Clone
so if it's a clone it will need a clone bin loaded

My understanding is that Junxbox is not a typo by the OP, and is the name of one of the most recent Jynxbox clones.

Did you ever happen to find a bin/firmware for the v30? Any idea where i could get it?

it will be hard to find that file cause the jynxbox clone came loaded with the proper file way before the v30 ,

the junxbox premium HD being sold on AliExpress come loaded with the right file .
look in the menu under tools system info:
-model junxbox p2
-firmware version P1.2.59
if its got that file your good to go

i noticed that with a junxbox p2 P1.2.59 the EPG does not work with the channel list/user database/.udf that was uploaded to the junxbox file section. its also worth mentioning the p2 box likely has an issue with the ethernet MAC not being coded to the device. as its MAC is 00:00:00:00:00:00 (this is invalid)

however the same .udf file uploaded to my junxbox p1 p1.2.39 and epg works. also it has a proper MAC address.


I can make the EPG work on the P2 but i have to do manually all all the transponders, but more then half of them wont scan as i dont have a channel list file. most transponders will just skip on a scan so i cant get it to work

Does anyone happen to have a Junxbox p2 they have with working EPG and all the transponders added?

like you, I loaded the file that was in the file section and could not get the guide to work so I did a factory reset and tried again ... well I got the guide to work but it had a hard time getting the channels to scan properly ...

so I loaded the bin again and from the Channel Menu I deleted all the channels, then went into Installation > Dish Settings made sure 91 was selected and all settings were correct then just hit the scan button ... I let it Auto scan and it didn't skip and transponders... if it does skip some transponders just use manual scan to scan them alone.

I have no idea why the junxbox scans better when I start with the bin that jets provided, but it does, it get most channels that we watch and there is a guide ...
