Okay started up my box today. Could not connect to wi-fi so I used cable to get started. I am now stuck on Server Settings screen with "Preparing to install applications...". Has been here for approximately 20 minutes. What is going on?

Did try without ethernet cable first. Got it working, seems everything was not updated before I tried. Once all updates were complete wi-fi now works. Will be running with ethernet cable anyways, but I like everything to work.

I do see a lot of IPTV providers tell you to download a certain player. The BuzzTV player will work with those providers? I have sent them this question but have not heard back yet.

If they offer MAC, XC or M3U type logins, then the BuzzTV app works with most of them.
If a service ONLY offers service though their own customized app, it is often because they want to "hide" the server/portal etc... So I just move on. There is no crappy app which is distributed with a service which will come close to the BuzzTV app. Not buying a nice box, to be forced to use some other crappy app. Too many iptv services out there to worry about those kind of stupidities imposed.

Hiding the url from open forums is the whole point to protect it from being compromised.(no VPN needed) P.M ing or emailing the url is allowed. And not all apps are smarters or crappy. I have paid playstore apps that have the url hard coded to make activation easy for everyone, just enter user/pass. I dont like giving urls out for trials. I give an app, much easier then trying to figure out someones tech talents. Got off subject here, sorry.

I never said to post URL publicly. URL should only be communicated in PM for many reasons (which we won't get into).
Having an app, is not a BAD thing (and it has it's place). It can be an option, but not giving ANY other options, is not desirable. For "trials" anything goes, and every server is free to do as they wish. The point of a trial is to see what the content, content quality and stability is. If the app can provide that for a trial, then great. But would hate to be locked into a specific app, if someone decides to buy a sub. Would make buying a dedicated IPTV box a completely moot point, if you cannot use their software (BuzzTV, Formuler, etc..).
