not sure if this goes here or under buzz section so please move if it is wrong, paid extra for the classic as i wanted pvr+ but it will not record, one touch record not working either all record requests still show in pvr menu but nothing recorded, online search took me to another site (something stb) and another person has same issue, he was told do factory reset and it worked but i just called buzz support and they feel it is the server (why i posted here) is having buffering issues and if so the box never will record a factory reset will not help .
Settings are stream =auto, buffer time 3 secs, player = primary, ip = DHCP, afr = all enabled, exact framerate = off, afr for apps = off, network shares = on, i have 1.5 gb service and speedtest on pc tells me 900 mb

Technically should be in Buzz section. Wicked is not the issue for this, works quite well on my Classic and other devices I have. One touch record wrks even on my really old E2, and entry level boxes like the B2 and E2. Have you tried using a different quality USB stick for your recordings ? And is it in the USB3 slot (not the usb2) ?

Speedtest on your PC means absolutely nothing. This is not your PC.
Since you have a 1.5G connection, I am assuming you have Bell, with their crappy Homehub hardware. Many people try to make the best of it, by using their own routers, yet they find themselves configuring double NAT situations and making things worse, instead of trying to use PPPoE passthrough to avoid the double NAT.

Your box connected by wire, or wireless ? If you are wireless, it could be a crappy wireless connection and unstable. Wireless may be fine for some bursts of data, but it may just drop for sustained data transfers needed by iptv. As a test, try with a wired connection.

You say that factory reset will have no effect, yet you have not tried it. How do YOU know it will not have any effect. It could be something latched in the box which is causing a glitch.

For Stream type, if you followed the other thread and many on this forum, for wicked we often recommend to not choose auto, and choose M3U8/HLS, which helps with the catchup feature. And if that does not work for you, you can always test with TS.

You don't need to wait for someone to ask you to do something. The options are in front of you, you can play with them. Also, for now, keep the tunnelled playback and realtime streaming option OFF.

thank you for moving, i was 50/50 on where to post once the buzz CS said server issue, i felt sure it wasn't though as nobody else seems to have an issue.
Not using a usb this has 64 gb internal.
Speedtest tells me my internet connection is fast enough be it on my pc or not, correct? Wrong? And no not bell but robbers, never thought of the router though maybe my settings are wrong but i am screwed if they
are because with robbers you must have a cell phone to change router settings and i don't, using ethernet cord wi fi turned off.
100% agreed about factory reset but i didn't say it won't work the buzz rep did, before i wiped everything i was looking for feedback but i am going to try that as it worked for someone else.
As for stream type i did read one thread but i thought it said TS but when i reset i will try your suggestions, and i understand their are options but i have had the box just a couple of days haven't had time to play with it yet

i was use to IKS and on my dreamlink remote i could push the return button and it took me back to the previous channel, that does not work on the 250, is there a way or just program a button myself to do it if that is possible?

On the 250 under the blue home button there is a button with a arrow left that will take you to the last channel.
If you press and hold I believe it shows the last 10 channels

it should be 19 channels
it shows that at bottom right of list

Although i was told by the buzz rep i spoke with that it was a server issue not a buzz box issue why if that is true is nobody else complaining here about it, did factory reset and just tried one touch record worked perfectly, testing right now to see if the pvr+ works too, on AFR do i leave everything off i am not sure what AFR does, not sure what catchup is other than what i put on my burger.
just checked a the pvr+ recording worked and i was tuned to a different channel as it recorded

catchup is something you have missed and want to watch but that features depends on server. if server offers that feature then buzz devices will play them.

ok thank you no idea what it is but i will try it and learn, only had the box a week and only devote maybe 1 hr a day to it so it will take me time to learn
