According to several people within TNA, Booker T's surprise return to TNA at Friday night's house show was a one-time only appearance.
TNA issued the following on their Facebook account regarding Booker T’s surprise appearance:
On Friday night at TNA’s live event tour date in Lake Charles, LA, AJ Styles was unable to appear due to travel issues to face TNA World Champion Rob Van Dam. However, BOOKER T made a surprise appearance to face RVD in the main event! When TNA comes to your hometown, don’t miss it – because you never know what could happen at a TNA Wrestling Live event!
