Brocken Spectre is when your own shadow (in this case, OP brothers) is cast on the surface of the mists below, surrounded by a halo-like ring of light. The sun must be behind you. You’re seeing your shadow projected in front of you through the mist.


The 3rd photo was taken by my brother and his girlfriend; you can just about see that there's two people
They are seeing this with the naked eye also

Being above the clouds like that is kind of cool eh?

It happens when we go skiing ,, near us are
Mont Bromont and Mont Tremblant
both are tall enough to chair lift above the clouds
and then ski down through clouds
It's a pretty sight ,, both day and night
