Clearly ,,

It had to have been driver error and incorrect signage
because if the google car didn't drive over it , it could
not show up on google maps

I often see the google car drive by and I once followed
the Apple car for several kilometers on the 401

The sign reads "THE END IS NEAR. TURN YOURSELF AROUND NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE."

A car speeds through yelling at them "F** off you religious nuts!"*

The two guys turn around just in time to see the car disappear into the water.

"Ya think we should just have our signs say BRIDGE CLOSED instead?"

WE had our infamous bridge to nowhere here in Montreal/Dorval, near the airport for nearly a decade.
There was an unfinished ramp from Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport to Highway 20 eastbound for nearly a decade, and it was pretty funny to see. At least in our case there were concrete blocks the entrance, since no one used it (not even construction workers)

Began in 2009 and was supposed to finish by 2013 and only finally opened in 2017 after piles of legal issues I believe due to land disputes.

This was the view for at least 5 or 6 years.
