Well, finally got around to fixing the actuators, fixing the used cable run, got the dish moving back and forth. No signal? Got to be something wrong in the angles man! Dish looks too high. What to do? Will get some pics up soon to show what I trying to figure out. Going to try arcing slowly to see if I can pick anything up. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Upload the photos first, I am sure that way CostaCTC and others can point out where the problem is..............

This may take awhile as I am on dialup. Thinking it might be a lnb skew issue? Along with polar mount angles. These are just a few pics but, you get the idea. The first is the angle of the mount, the second is not a good choice now that I see it again and the third is the back ring. The angle for the first one sooms to be fairly close to the 32.69 Apex elevation from the chart. The back plate is approximately 28°, 90-62.

Catthepatch the below table was shared to my by laudou from ricks site, it was very helpful to me. The other thing is that you need to locate your highest sat first (southern sat), and you will be very close to the arc, it may need small adjustments.

Thanks mxfta-fan but, I already have the numbers. I just need to know what to do with them now. I'm done for the day now and have to reprogram my CS7K for my Ku 36".
1: set the dish at your most south sat usin the jack.
2: set the incline (its what you are doin in your first pic).
3: set the decline (its what you are doin in your third pic) remembering the decline is the total angle: eg if your incline is 10 degrees, and you hav to tilt the dish 5 degrees, when you place the angle meter on the back ring of the dish you should see a total of 15 degrees
4: set the north/south alignment of the polar mount (need a compass for this),
back to your first pic, where you hav the angle meter is what you will align with your north/south heading. . .the long side.
5: after all this you can now start lookin for a sat assuming the lnb has been install correctly (mine isnt and works great still lol) and you hav an attive TP of the sat you are lookin for, you should be good.
hope this helps, i know how i felt when i set mine up.
this was all i used

Ctp, your angle meter is similar to mine, supposing that your latitude is 32 (posted info), you'll need to reach the mark of 32.69 of meter, starting from 0 (magnetic side of meter), not subtracting from 90, cause that is when the 90 mark points to the sky/top, and that will be your elevation, it appears that you are like 30 deg up(image supnp0144.jpg). For declination angle i did the adjustments at the back side of the dish, not the polar mount (in my case it gave me wrong readings). The area that i'm referring is the flat side at the center of the dish (where the feedhorn points) and according to the numbers of the table you will be reading/adjusting to 37.25 deg. Hope this helps.

I see the Ford in those photos too, it seems the F150 can't be out of the picture lol........

Well CTP, looks like MXFTA and risk already took care of you. Report back quality signal on tp and what sat your aiming for to see if you need to do more tweaking.

Well, I was up and running earlier today! Just scanning away. Had a table setup right in front of the dish and was guesstimating some of the birds and doing blind scans, then zeroing in on them and then channel surfing as I was digging a trench for some overhead lines. Will have to wait til I get some pvc glue to finish though.
Was a minor tweak on the declination angle and a major tweak on the LNB skew. Even got some Ku reception. The sky began to darken around 3pm so I decided to pack it in. Was digging up all my pvc pipe and fittings for the overhead and the sat run and will need to get a bit more as well as decide where to run it as my other run is full.
I will now want to get a high def tv and stb to enjoy all the HD channels available!!!
Thanks for all the support and especially to "Risk" for the pm's!!!
Happy Testing!
