Collarwaali is a Tigress in her prime and the hulking beast here is called Chota Dadhiyal, said to be one of the biggest males in Tadoba. He’s a popular young male, around 5-6 years old and is liked for his size, confidence and aggression. He was seen chasing another big male called Shambhu recently and has also been filmed going after a young bull Gaur. You can see here that he dwarfs her and is likely almost twice her size, she is said to be a tall Tigress as well.
Collarwaali currently has 3 cubs sired by him, there was a 4th but it was unfortunately killed by a pack of Dholes. Let’s hope the little ones all make it to adulthood, they’d certainly take after their parents’ size!
