Google Services Stopped Working?

A friend with a classic got this message. I don't ever remember seeing this but anyone know what could be wrong?

I have classic but I've never got this message. Does it appear while watching TV or at boot or while accessing a certain app?

If all else fails, backup the BuzzTV settings, and factory reset :)
