Funny enough, I've used plenty of generations of "floppy" disks.. Some floppier than others.

8", the 5.25" and then 3.5"

And funny enough, no joke, earlier this year I needed to get some files of an old 8" floppy. Hardest part was trying to boot up the machine (old Sperry) needed to be able to read the files. And it boots using 5x 8" floppies.

And all these were awesome, compare to the old 9-track tapes.
