- JTG vs. Trent Baretta and Luke Gallows vs. Chris Masters was taped tonight before NXT for Thursday's WWE Superstars. R-Truth vs. William Regal and Brie Bella vs. Jillian Hall was taped last night.
- New WWE ring announcer Ashley Valance made her debut on tonight's NXT. Ashley seemed to have done most of Matt Striker's usual duties at the start of the show. Jamie Keyes is still doing ring introductions on matches.
- The first poll and elimination for this season of NXT will take place on next Tuesday night's show. Fans will be able to start voting that night at 10pm EST. 50% of the poll comes from fan votes and the other 50% comes from the Pros.
