AT&T's U-verse customers could lose AMC before the fourth season premiere of 'Mad Men' on July 25.

"Mad Men" fans are about to get really mad.

AT&T's U-verse is threatening to drop AMC, the channel that broadcasts the critically acclaimed show, ahead of its season four debut on July 25, deadline.com reports.

AMC's parent company, Rainbow Media Holdings, has told AT&T's U-verse customers that they could lose AMC, IFC and WE when the contract between the two companies expires on July 14.

AT&T and Rainow have reportedly been negotiating for the past six months to replace their old contact, which expired on July 1. They agreed to a two-week extension but Rainbow has started notifying its viewers that the three channels could go dark on AT&T.

AMC released a statement accusing AT&T of putting their corporate interests ahead of U-verse's approximately 2.3 million subscribers.

"We are negotiating in good faith with AT&T and are hopeful that we can reach an agreement as soon as possible so that our viewers don't lose out," the channel said.

But AT&T's spokeswoman told deadline.com that the Rainbow channels are among the least-watched and most overpriced per viewer.

The news comes on the heels of "Mad Men" scoring 17 Emmy nominations.

I hate Uverse. They are so cheap they only allow you to use one A/V output on the box, so if you want to use it for two TVs you need to buy a splitter and split signal. If you have two TVs and one has HDMI and the other is an older TV, then you need to split the HDMI and buy a converter and a splitter for the other TV.
