subscribing to a thread...

I go up to the thread, click on Thread Tools and select Subscribe to this thread...it takes me to next screen where I acknowledge the subscription

I go back into User CP and it says I have no subscriptions; thought I did something wrong so I tried to re-subscribe to thread again but in the Thread Tools I only get the option to Unsubscribe from this thread

subscribed thread has yet to show up in my User CP....am I missing something?

Don't quote me.....but it might not show up until a new post has been made......

subscribing to forums seems to work just fine....k, I'll wait for that thread to be updated and then see if it happens

make sure u have the subscription setting in user CP set to no email notifications...


its under Edit Options ...

Default Thread Subscription Mode When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads (http://www.satfix.net/subscription.php), with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread. Do not subscribe No email notification Instant email notification Daily email notification Weekly email notification Default Thread Subscription Mode:no email notifications...

I did notice that it said No email notification just before I hit Subscribe but let me check the other thing you mention to subscribe to thread by default

Don't quote me.....but it might not show up until a new post has been made......

NP, it works now....it only shows up when a new post is made in the thread

sorry Nokia, I did do the Default thingy and set it to no email notification but it still did not work

if it was set to Don't subscribe then u won't be able to see it in User CP

now that u set it to no email notif.... all future threads and posts u post in will show in CP

also try logging off the forum and log back in ...

yup you're right Nokia....now anywhere I post, I am automatically subscribed to thread
