- NXT Rookie Alex Riley lost the FCW Heavyweight Title on Thursday night at the WWE developmental tapings. Riley defended the belt in a three-way against Johnny Curtis and Mason Ryan, who is the new Champion. Ryan is the former UK Gladiator star who resembles Batista.
- Mattel announced this week at Comic-Con in San Diego that they were producing a Macho Man Randy Savage action figure for their new WWE Defining Moments line. Savage appeared in a video and said that Mattel was making more figures of himself from various eras of this career. Savage vowed that "2011 will be the Macho Man's year.
