WBC silver middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. feels honored that trainer Freddie Roach wants to use him as the chief sparring partner to help Manny Pacquiao prepare for his fight with Antonio Margarito on November 13. Chavez's physical dimensions are similar to those of Margarito.

"I would be very happy to help. I think it would be a new experience for me in my career and I would also like to be in there trading leather with the world's best," Chavez told Sal Rodriguez.

Chavez is returning on September 11 in Mexico. Pacquiao's training camp with Roach begins on September 12. Chavez will be traveling soon to Los Angeles to begin his training camp at the Wild Card Gym.

"Now what matters is that I train hard with Roach and Alex Ariza in Los Angeles. We will work for nearly seven weeks for this fight and I hope that there will be even more progress working with my new team," Chavez said.
