nfusion for fta 97w

Hi all. I would like to use an old sc dish 60e/75e lnb on it and use my old nfusion stb to get 97west. Does anyone have any suggestions? im in interior british columbia. What tp is best to use and do i need to reset the nfusion stb to its factory setting or can i tune to 97w with the current setup with iks?

Although your nfusion will do fta, it's not the greatest stb for true fta. Your dish is probably too small for the weaker tp. I would suggest at least a 90cm if not larger and the low band circular lnb will also be required.

Hi , i thought 97 requires low band linear lnb like the one sc uses on their dishes.

Yes your right I must have been thinking about Anikf3 at 118.8, a linear lnb will do.

Does anyone know if i have to have the stb set to factory condition or can i scan 97w with the current 3rd party bin?

You shouldn't have any issues with your bin just change your settings.
