Depends what you are looking for. 97W has a lot of channels and 83 has both TUFF TV and RTV. Are you using a motorized dish or stationary?

i am using motorized but cant seem to get anything other then 110 119 thats its.. so i thought to try to make it stationary on 97 but i have a family so what ever accomadates all of us is better

If you are getting 110 and 119 you have a circular lnb. To get any of the true fta sats you should get a linear lnb. Circular won't work

A 33"-48" dish is also required for true fta linear sats as well as a linear lnb as EC mentioned in the previous post.

If you're in Canada, get an old starchoice dish and lnb.I have a bunch of them.

Those dishes are not big enough, you need at least 33" dish to get proper signal to what you want to acheive.

Since your setup is motorised you can accomodate the whole family. Have a look at lyngsat for what ku channels are open.

I must be doing something wrong.I can get 63w,83w,85w,87w,89w,97w,105w,121w,123w and 125w on these dishes (26x36).I could get more if it wasn't for the 40-60' trees in my way.

what trommy sugested is right you can find those dishes on the trush
en they are good
and you must be good too to find the signal
but they do work.
