Aside from inserting dialectric plate in a linear lnbf you may also scan in circular c band channels with a wideband corotor:

would i have much luck scanning in C band , with my 39" ariza , since i am on the arc very well dialed in from 61.5 to 129 almost all at 95% Q on all sats in between . I currenty use an invacom qph-301... will this lnbf work with 118?

thanks

That LNB will only get a few TP's on the 118 satellite as its a circular satellite that runs in the linear satellite band, you would have to use the circular side of that LNB and it wont go down below TP17 before you loose it, I have one my self and have tested that far down.

I've heard of people using 1m or 1.2m dishes for c band but only real strong tp would scan in. I've used my 6' with great success but nothing like my 10' bud.
