I have a 1995 Chev Tahoe. The rear liftgate glass window defroster lines do not work any longer. The button on the dash will not engage and stay lit, but I believe there is a relay, behind the radio that is house in a black case. The last time I had the radio looking at this problem I think it may be the culprit, no power feed to it ... thus the dash button will not engage and light...and the linde do not work.

Any ideas? Or what colour wires I should be looking for to feed the relay. I have look at all the fuses and all seem good, unless their is a hidden fuse some where.

Thanks

If you get a momentary light on the button......I would suspect a bad relay......best bet is to get a service manual for your ride.....it should have the wiring schematics and you'll be able to trace the wires.....;)

Here is the wiring diagram for it...
Common trouble is in rear door..short to ground.
All so the controller .

Sorry if it blurry...am at work and do not have the right tools here..

Should give you an idea anyway .

That is a rar compressed file. You need winrar , 7zip, Izarc, or extractnow to open it. Rar is a common format, you need to get one of those utilities anyway.

Yes I had one of those moments......... A while after I sent the reply I realized that. I guess since I have not had to unzip files for so long since I do not have a WF as of yet. I guess I should get going and get one.

Thanks You
