Hi, I need to split two satellite signals into 16 outputs.
Each LNB has dual outputs....
I want to run each LNB to a 2x4 Multiswitch... So I can have 4 outputs from each Satellite and 2 of each will go into a powered multiswitch...
Those feeds will run to 2 POWERED 9x8 multiswitches... giving me 16 outputs from 2 satellites...
Will this work?
Is there a cheaper way to split 2 satellites to 16 receivers?
Thanks!!

Use a 4 x 16 switch, splitting too many times will cause problems, and add too much overall system loss.
Look through this site.

Thanks for the quick reply....
I looked through the EMP site.. and I have another question now..
It seems like all the 16 output switches are configured to work with a Quad output LNB? Or will it still work with a dual output LNB?
I am looking at.. the MS9/16PIU-6 V10 and the Economy class MS9/16EIA-6 V10 Switches...
I can't find any 4x16 switches under the Profi line or Economy line...
"Main features of Economy Class multiswitches
compatible with Quattro/Quad LNB"
Or am I just not on the right product? =)
Thanks!

Try the 5 X 16 (4 inputs from 1 quad LNB, 2 inputs from 2 dual LNB's or 4 single LNB’s) and 1 terrestrial input (TV antenna) this should work out fine.

And be shure to mount it out of the weather as it an AC power switch. (mount in the attic)

Thanks again.. This look like the one i would need to make this setup work.. problem is.. I google retailers selling this and I came up with NOTHING!
Ebay.. and all...
I did find some.. EMP-Centauri 17x16 Powered Switch in Canada..for $449 but that is the closest thing to it.. I dont need 17 inputs.. sorta a overkill...
any ideaS?
