SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP)—Manati, Puerto Rico hit five homers and two pitchers combined on a one-hitter in an 11-0 victory over Ramstein Air Force Base Germany on Friday night at the Little League World Series.
Puerto Rico leadoff hitter Yomar Valentin had two homers, while Victor Valentin, Bryan Figueroa and Joshuan Sandoval also went deep in a game that ended in the fourth inning because of Little League’s 10-run rule.

The Valentin boys are cousins, and they helped their grandfather and manager, Jose Valentin, make a victorious debut in South Williamsport. Yomar’s father is former major leaguer Jose Valentin, who was in the stands, as was Jose’s brother, Javier Valentin, who played with the Reds, Twins and Rays.
Kaleb Stokes had Germany’s only hit with a leadoff single in the third.
