first of all thanks to bluesman and costactc. Now i got 2 dish to setup. I got dish 1000.2 for 110. 119 and 129, and i got another one for 97W. Is it possible to connect those 2 dish to one receiver? and what do it call so i can buy it.

They should all be connected to your diseqc switch. Each LNB to one connection on the switch.

I like a SW21 switch.

I like a SW21 switch.

The SW21 only has 2 inputs. That's why I suggested the diseqc switch. It has the 4 inputs he needs...

You are correct, I forgot to include a diseqc to one side of the SW 21 switch.

can anyone tell me what wrong with this?

thanks

To connect more then one dish to your receiver use a 4x1 diseqc switch. Attach the coaxial rg6 wire that goes from your receiver to the dish L N B F, to the diseqc switch then attach the L N B F’s from the dish's to the one of the four disqec switch inlets ether numbered or lettered.
Then on your receiver you would go to your antenna setup page then set the port number you are using in the diseqc settings.

If you use up all 4 for ports on your diseqc switch you can install a SW22 switch. 0/22khz switch. It’s a “y” type of switch sort of like an A/B switch or tone switch.
Now you can have a 1x4 diseqc switch with the 22khz power off with 4satillites on one disqce switch. And then, with the 22khz power side on have a 4x1disqce switch with 4 more satellites. you turn the 22khz power on in the antenna setup page.

You could also use an SW22- Switch to have two dishes on one receiver

Or you could have a 4x1 diseqc switch and an SW22 switch off of a diseqc port and get five like port 4 and port 4-22khz power on.
Also not all SW22 switches will pass the signal threw and on to the 4x1 diseqc switch.
I use ECODA brand switches also I believe cheetah? Brand switches work also.

An sw21 is for dish network and circular l n b f. A 22khz switch is what you want.

When i plug it directly to the receiver i got 110,119,129 good strength and quality. But when i try to plug them through the the 4.1 disqc switch i got 110 and 129 good strength and quality but 119 i got nothing, not even strength. please help. is my disqc switch broke?

thanks

No I did now you had 3 lnb’s in one so what do you set it to on you receiver to get all 3 working?
With out the 4x1 switch . turn on the 22khz see if that dose anything

I had a quick look at that 3 in one lnb and I think you problem my be one is legacy switch commands and the 4x1 switch is diseqc commands. Just a guess. Some one here will now.
I see if I can find anything more.

I'm not familiar with that 1000.2 dish setup, but it sounds like it has a built-in legacy switch. You would only use 2 ports on your diseqc switch and use both legacy and diseqc settings to determine your satellite. Ex: port 1 for dish 1000.2 and port 2 for your dish pointed at 97 deg. Set diseqc to 2 on your receiver for the 97 satellite and set diseqc to 1 and use your legacy settings for 110, 118.9,119, 129.

Hope this helps. Like I said, I'm not too familiar with the 1000.2 dish...

There's the possibility he burnt out the port if he made any connections with the box power turned on.Make all connections to a diseqc switch with the power to the box turned off;unplug the box to be safe.

The first two frequencies on 119 are Spot beams and you will get no signal reading. What frequency are using on 119?
