what kind of reciever would be the best for true fta talking about c-band and ku thanks just curious and looking for a good one already have a 10`bud its like new with a chaparell c and ku band lnb

I would suggest several:

Pansat 3500,2700,2500
Fortec
Coolsat 5000, 6000
Traxis 3500

When you refer to c and ku band lnb are you saying that your using a corotor? I was using a wideband corotor with Norsat lnb for years until I realised that an lnbf was superior even though much cheaper.

and yes it is a corotor and thank you have a ps 25oo and 2700 never tried them yet so its time to have some fun lol

Excellent scanning stb. Do me a favour, scan your arc with one of them and then try an lnbf, you'll see the difference in channels and signal quality. If you insist on a corotor, contact me I have Chaparral widebandII, Norstar8115 c band lnb and a Norstar 4208A ku band lnb collecting dust.
