Former TNA star Bobby Lashley tasted his first MMA defeat at tonight's Strikeforce event. Chad Griggs defeated Lashley via TKO (referee stoppage) at 5:00 of round 2. The fight was stopped after the end of the round.

The win for Griggs is considered to be a huge upset.

it was a beat down from the get go . lashley had no game plan and wasted to much energy in hugh take downs that did nothing . it was like he forgot that he was a wrestler and only try to ground and pound which didnt work. he made it thru the second round but was unable to contiune into the third . it was sad to see him clinging on to anothers mans leg for the last min getting repeated blows to the head and not having the strenght to move or even cover up. No cardo at all he was pretty much done at the end of the first

wow, thanks swan, i just watched the fight on u-tube and lashley didn't look too good. still new to the mma world but i think he needs some more training (not that they ever stop training) and i think if he knew a good sub hold he would have had that fight easy.
