It appears that Ivan "Choko" Hernandez (27-4, 17KOs) will get a chance to redeem himself when he challenges WBO super bantamweight champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (19-0, 16KOs) on Saturday October 16th in Kissimmee, Florida. Hernandez says he signed a contract for the fight and plans to make the best of the opportunity. Hernandez lost to some of the best, Fernando "KO-Chulito" Montiel, Israel Vazquez, Jose Angel Beranza and Toshioki Nishioki. The last defeat came to WBC champ Nishioki in three rounds last October. He won twice since then.
