We are working hard for this bout, looking for a victory and another good performance. As always the weight is not a problema. I’m in good shape and focused for this fight”, said Calderón.

Capetillo denied license in PR

Giovanni Segura’s controversial trainer Javier Capetillo has been denied a trainer’s license by the Puerto Rican Boxing Commission, according to Primera Hora. This means Capetillo cannot be in Segura’s dressing room or corner when he faces Ivan “Iron Boy” Calderon in Saturday’s big 108lb unification clash in Puerto Rico. Capetillo, the central figure in the Antonio Margarito handwrapping scandal, is suspended by the State of California, but has been licensed in Mexico.
