This could be intresting for sure.My boy is Margarito..But i think all of us have a feeling that Manny Pacquaio is going to lay a whole can of whoop ass om him..For the price of the fight i hope Margarito returns to the Tijuanna Tornado that he once was and makes this a PPV worthy bout..That would make me happy..JMO..

Not that I wouldn`t enjoy Margarito putting up a good fight, and he has the ability------it`ll be Pac Man in a wash. 7 rnds if Margarito is lucky is about all the body shots he`ll be able to take. TKO Pac 7th rnd

if margarito stands there like a statue like he usally does pac beats him. if he can establish his jab and moves it could get interesting pacs style is darting in and out and unleashing flurries of shots to the body and head. unfortionally for margarito a leopard dont change his spots so even if he can establish the jab once he starts gettin hit and hurt hes gonna go back to his old ways which aint gonna get it done.

hes never been known for his speed and hes gonna have to move to hurt manny. hes definetly a dangerous man.hes always started slow and waited for the plaster to harden and then do his damage like he did with cotto pac needs to get it done in the early rounds

Margarito will hire Brinks Trucks to help him get his biggest loot to his bank. He is so happy to have been picked to share limelight with Pacquiao that he is smiling from ear to ear in every mug shot he is called to pose. I have never seen a boxer gleaming like he is doing a Colgate commercial.
So what does this all mean? Margarito's license approval to "earn this loot" in Texas is just manna from heaven. Does he want to rumble against Pacquiao in earnest? I seriously doubt that. Margarioto's lustre has tarnished. (Just go over his last bout with Garcia and you will know what I mean.)
But what about Congressman Pacquiao? Is he taking this fight seriously? I guess the answer is clearly written in his biography and work ethics. Contrary to what has been written (about the 10 reasons he could lose to Margarito), Pacquiao is not out there to fatten his bank account. It was never about money for the slugger from General Santos. It is about work and "doing it for the glory of his country and his people". He is not out there to prove anything. He is out there to simply "do his job."
That just spells trouble. Margarito's height advantage would be neutralized by Pacquiao's quickness and ability to pull the trigger and dart out. He showed that when he fought dela Hoya - a much taller boxer with reach advantage.
If I were Margarito's coach and trainer, I would ask him to utilize the jab and go all out to try to knock Pacquiao out early. Pacquiao can be hit, BUT that exposes Antonio to the same risk that sent Hatton to sleep. Or, I could tell him to score point and win rounds and go on the defensive for 12 rounds. The problem that will create is that he will be loudly booed because Mexicans and those who knew the Margarito of old would be expecting fireworks.
Pacquiao's strategy would be the same as with all his other big fights: lightning combinations, deadly hooks, punishing body punches, speed, and footwork. He has never retreated in any of his fights and he is not retreating from this one either.
So what are the odds? Unless someone slips Pacquiao a stew of banku/okra the night before the fight in his dinner menu, smart money will never be on Margarito. His chances of knocking out Pacquiao in the first 3 rounds would probably be 1-50. His chances of being knocked out in the first 3 rounds would probably be 70-30.

Well, either Margarito is going to need more plaster of paris to beat Manny or Manny is gone have to drink lots of juice to beat Margarito. No matter what, Arum is gone make a lot of pera, dinero, cash. It will be a show. Arum a winner by tko. jmo :innocent:
