The pound for pound king returns home to 8CountNews and shares his thoughts on his big upcoming November 13th, showdown Vs. Antonio Margarito. Pacquiao talks about the big fight, and also responds to the recent comments made about him by Floyd Mayweather Jr. Pacquiao also talks to those critics that disagree with the fight against Margarito, and MUCH MORE!

8CN - First and foremost can you share some thoughts of comfort for Bob Arum, his son is missing in the mountains.

MP – Yes, I really feel bad about what happened to his son. I am still praying that he will be found, of course all we can do right now is pray for him.

8CN -Margarito Nov 13th, talk about this fight.

MP – Yea, Antonio Margarito November, 13th is going to be a good fight because he throws a lot of punches, and he is a really aggressive fighter. This will create a lot of boxing in the ring.

8CN - You're no stranger to fighting bigger guys, does Margarito pose any danger for you, and if so, what?

MP – Yes, this isn't an easy fight for me because he is bigger and taller. Much bigger than De La Hoya. I have to focus on training and study his style because he has a lot of advantages.

8CN – He has a height advantage on you so I am guessing you will rely on your speed again.

MP – Yes exactly, that's my advantage, my speed. I will have to maximize all of my advantages and use that against him.

8CN– Do you believe that Margairto deserves this opportunity to fight you?

MP – Margarito is trying his best to get back into boxing, and it's unfair of us not to give him another chance. We are all human, and we all deserve a second chance in this world.

8CN – You're a Christian man. Did that have some play in your decision to forgive him?

MP – Yes, so we will give him once more chance and if he ever does it again, he won't get anymore chances in boxing.

8CN -What do you say to those boxing writers that blame you for ruining boxing by taking this fight vs Margarito?

MP – It's not bad for boxing, he's trying to get his second chance in boxing. I don't want to comment on those blaming me. I think for me Margarito is a good style for me, and the people want to see a good fight. I like his style because it will create a good fight in the ring.

8CN – I like his style too, he throws punches and comes forward. It will be exciting while it lasts but I don't think it will last too long.

MP – (Laughs) Brad Cooney (laughing)

8CN – The fans really welcomed you in Dallas, and Jerry Jones (Cowboys owner) has really taken good care of you. Talk about the Dallas experience.

MP – Yea, I really want to thank Jerry Jones for bringing the fight here to Dallas. I want to thank everyone for welcoming team Pacquiao. It's really nice to be here again.

8CN – You are gaining more and more Mexican fans because of your style of fighting. Talk about that.

MP – I'm always thankful to the Mexican fans that believe in me. It's nothing personal, it's not my intention to fight against Mexican fighters, it just so happens that my next opponent is Mexican. It's my job to fight and make my fans happy.

8CN- Floyd Mayweather recently said some very bad things about you. What are your thoughts on that?

MP – I don't want to make a comment on that because it was a very uneducated statement. I understand him, maybe he wants someone to praise him and not me.

10 – Why do you think Floyd decided not to take the fight? He had his chance to fight you.

MP – I don't know the exact reason why he didn't want to fight.

8CN – Congratulations of being elected Congressman. Is being a congressman what you expected?

MP – I'm doing my job, and it's my dream to help people. I want to reach my dreams not only in boxing but in politics too.

8CN – Do you enjoy being a Congressman?

MP – If you love your job, you can like your job. Right now I am enjoying serving the people.

8CN– You will train in the PI first half of your training. When will you be back in LA for the second half?

MP – Yes the first month of training will be in PI, and the second half in Los Angeles.

8CN – Do you have some closing thoughts?

MP – I want to thank the fans for always supporting me, and thank you Brad for always being there and supporting boxing. Thank you.
