Inside the boxing ring Floyd Mayweather Jr. is one of the smartest fighters the sport has ever seen, but outside of the ring it’s a whole different story. Last week he released a racist rant directed towards the Pound-for-Pound greatest boxer in the world, Manny Pacquiao.

As an African American you’d think Money May would have thought twice before making so many racist remarks towards the Filipino, but apparently it doesn’t matter if you’re black, white or purple. Ignorance is a disease that can affect us all.

Here are three key Quotes from Mayweather’s rant which have been translated to say what the Pretty Boy really meant.

"I'm on vacation for about a year, about a year. As soon as we come off vacation, we're going to cook that little yellow chump.”

Translation 1:

“Please God let Antonio Margarito land a lucky punch on Pacquiao in November so I actually have a real excuse for ducking him”

Translation 2:

“If I can keep coming up with more and more excuses, eventually Father Time will catch up with him. If he loses just a little bit of speed maybe my shoulder roll can avoid his lightning fast fists.”

Translating the Translations:

Pacman has a style that will fade with age much quicker than Money May’s. Mayweather knows this and it almost certainly is in the back of his mind. Would it surprise anyone if this is one of his reasons for ducking the Filipino?

“They ain't gotta worry about me fighting the midget. Once I kick the midget ass, I don't want you all to jump on my d---. So you all better get on the bandwagon now.”

Translation 1:

“None of my fans have to worry about me getting knocked out by somebody so much smaller than me because I’m way too scared to ever fight him in the first place! The thought of getting put to sleep by a guy who is a Midget in comparison scares the living crap out of me.”

Translation 2:

“Please jump on my bandwagon, I’ll do anything and duck anyone to protect the zero in my loss column.”

Translating the Translation:

It’s no secret that Mayweather is dying for attention. He figures if he says “Midget” a couple times he’ll get mentioned on ESPN, and somehow increase the size of his bandwagon with fans who share the similar uneducated ignorance.

"Poochiao got three losses and two draws and been knocked out twice."

Translation 1:

“Pacquiao is going to make me his [insert word for female dog] and he's an idiot for not protecting his record like I have done my entire career!”

Translation 2:

“If I attack Manny for the losses he suffered over 5 years ago, maybe people will forget that I was nearly lost to Jose Luis Castillo in 2002. After that fight I learned my lesson and have ducked any real threat ever since.

Translating the Translation:

Manny Pacquiao is nowhere near the same fighter he was when he suffered those losses on his record. Every defeat on his record helped shape him into the unbeatable boxing specimen he is today. For Floyd Mayweather to discredit his greatness because of those losses is truly the most ignorant thing he said in the entire racist rant.

this is where he lost me------in order for PBF to think twice....he`d have to think once first...another seemingly insurmountable task for him.

Glad we could add some levity in all this, friends. Gotta admit it, though, there isn't much in boxing to talk about these days. No wonder I have not seen Todd anywhere. (He must be stalking Tiger to see if he could do something miraculous this week in the Fedex tournament!)

You Casanova you! Be ready with a pre-nuptial agreement......if you win her, we will all contribute and raise $50 million so that you could at least match 50% of her alimony from Tiger (just in case she dumps you after one day). If you don't, we'll send you a case of beer so that you can drown your sorrows. We'll also send you a picture of Brigette Bardot and Pamela Anderson in bikinis as a consolation prize. They may come in handy.:innocent:
