I have a friend moving home to terkey.
Are the iks sharing boxes such asa the cnx nano topsat or sonicview of any use their?
What sats would he be getting?

I guess I'm asking if it would be good to take one home with him.

it should work for FTA w/o any problems - if you have a 110 to 220V voltage regulator.

it will be easer to buy a FTA unit there.
Europe has a lot of FTA channels so no need for IKS, unless you want premium channels.

I have to agree, better to pick one up over there but it will work there. Huge selection of European sats especially Hot Bird and Astra. When I left in 2001 I had already 1,000 free fta open channels, I can just imagine how many there are now.
