Kobalt Tools 500 (race 35 of 36)

Welcome Race Fans to the first annual 2010 Satfix, the Official CNX Homesite, NASCAR Pool.

Congrats to buckets88 for winning the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

The race this weekend is the Kobalt Tools 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.

Coverage begins Sunday November 14 at 3:00PM EST. The deadline for picks will be 30 minutes prior to the drop of the green flag.

After qualifying the driver tier list will be edited to reflect those who did not qualify. All drivers who do not qualify will be highlighted in red

Be sure to make yourself familiar with the NASCAR Pool Rules and Regulations.

Make sure that you pick three drivers from tier 1, three drivers from tier 2, and four drivers from tier 3.

Make sure that you post both the driver's name and car number to eliminate any confusion.

Make sure that you pick the lap closest the the first caution lap for a tie breaker.

*** NOTE - Kasey Kahne has started his new job at red bull racing for his transition to Hendricks in 2012. Due to this Kasey Kahne is now in the #83 car, and Aric Almirola is in the #9 car. This means that Kasey Kahne is now a Tier 3 driver. Reason being is the point shuffles have always been based on the current owner points. The #83 car is 27th in owner points (Tier 3) and the #9 car is 21st in owner points (Tier 2).

Please make a note of this for the future races.

aj1 I am personally pulling for ya to win this week or next. You have been runner up twice, and finished in the front several times, so do not let me down.

Oh, and publicraven, you might want to win one on your own. :D :laughat:

All kidding aside, I am glad to see the way things turned out this season, and that the competition is as close as it is.

I know that eyeQ has pretty much ruled the coupe this season, but realisticly I think the top 5 still have a good chance to win, and the top 10 can still make a surprise jump (as they have been bouncing around here lately).

I screwed up on the football thing.....did not pay any attention to the schedule this week, and did not realize that there was a Thrusday night game until it was too late. I guess there is always next week. :rolleyes:
