Sorry i have to give my 2 cents for my thoughts on this. My family is muslim .Myself am not that religous I believe in god but why do people assume just because one person did something or says something that means that everyone is that way. My hubby who is scottish /danish thinks that the quran is poison.My question to him how do you know reply my friend told me .1st thing his friend can't read it and did not the quran is close to the bible only differnce is that jesus was a prophet. It like those who come to our homes johova witness they interped the bible another way. My sister-in law was not forced to wear the thing on her head she chose my brother like her anyway she wanted to be. She wore tee shirts hair down but then came more practing .When with a friend she yelled to a couple of girls take that off your head your in canada .I lost it i said why is okay when nun covers herslf it's okay but when a muslim lady does it wrong of her. I always tell people we can talk about anything but religon cause people always fight.Hope i did not offend anyone. My father knew i smoked and had tatoos would tell me it's hot wear shorts .And i never hid it from anyone , muslim or not i was accepted for me. People should'nt be to easy to judge.Sorry again if i offened .

I think it is collective punishment/appreciation.. for example, the Chinese wealthy guys come to N America, they have big houses and luxury cars. Then you think every Chinese is wealthy. If you see them talk loud in the public, spit everywhere, litter everywhere, then they are labelled as a bunch of non-educated. What else to the other races/country of origins? How you label them? Suck it up. Being a muslim is not different to the other people. Just think differently with same blood and flesh contents inside the body. I stay away from any religion, but I read their principles. I don't commit crime except I watch FTA. I don't kill any animal, but I eat them. As long as I feel good, I don't care where I go when I kick the bucket. If everybody going to heaven, then I have lots of elbow room in the hell. (No body coming back to tell me the difference)
