It's being reported that several months back, when Jeff Hardy first jumped from WWE to TNA, but prior to him actually signing a deal with TNA, WWE contacted Hardy several times and offered him a very good deal that would also see him work limited dates. However, as Hardy continued to work for TNA and WWE officials noted that he was doing very little to gain much ground or help improve the ratings for Impact, it's being said that WWE's interest in bringing Hardy back dwindled, and the company is apparently no longer worried about his TNA involvement.
