The weights are in for Saturday's big card at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California to celebrate 200 years of Mexican independence. In the main event, former champions Shane Mosley and Sergio Mora will collide. Shane Mosley easily made the division limit at 154. Mora was three pounds over the junior middleweight limit at 157-pounds.

BoxingScene.com is attempting to find out if Mora will be allowed time to lose the weight or the fight will move forward with the three pound advantage.

So far, the ruling given, more than likely with the California State Athletic Commission involved, is for Mora to lose no more than two-pounds, and he will also lose 20% of his purse.

STAY TUNED FOR MORE.............

Undercard Weights:

Junior middleweight prospect Saul "Canleo" Alvarez weighed in at 150.5-pounds. Former welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir was 153.4-pounds.

A over-the-weight contest between junior welterweight contenders. One fighter will lose their nickname. "Vicious" Victor Ortiz came in at 142-pounds, and "Vicious" Vivian Harris was 143.5, 1.5-pounds over the agreed upon weight of 142. He has to lose the pound and a half.

Featherweights Antonio Escalante and Daniel Ponce De Leon will open up the pay-per-view event. Escalante came in at the division limit, 126-pounds. Ponce De Leon was close to it as well, at 125.8.
