"The Cobra" Carl Froch has lashed out at his Super Six opponent, "King" Arthur Abraham. Their third stage bout in the Super Six Boxing Classic was officially postponed to November 27 in Helsinki, Finland. The fight was set for October 2 and postponed when Froch suffered a back injury in training camp. Froch is very upset with Abraham for questioning his back injury. He told livefight.com that he plans to make Abraham pay in November.
“Abraham is gonna get pounded. You can be damn sure of that. The fact he’s saying that I’ve lost my head, actually gives me a lot of confidence.” said Froch.
“I paid him his dues at first, but the reality he’s not what he’s cracked up to be. To be a complete fighter you need to be able to produce the goods not just at home, but on the road too.
Froch doesn't believe Abraham is capable of fighting on the road. He thought Andre Dirrell exposed Abraham in their March bout, which Dirrell won by disqualification. Froch is claiming that Abraham's ego made it very hard for their two sides to select a venue.
“He thought he was the man and many around him thought the same. But he was exposed and he wakes up every morning, struggling to deal with that. When Arthur is posing in his Ferrari, sitting on his booster cushion, people say 'Yeah, did you see his last fight? he got more hammer than a nail' and he knows that's what they are saying, that he is a loser. I was handed a loss, wheras he was handed his ass."
