I'm not quite sure what you mean by 30 ku or 29 c. Sat at 101 is the new SES1. Not to many channels on this sat but History and Bio channels can be found there.

I can see what you mean. Thanks for comming back to me.The 30ku and the 29c are what apears on a LIMESAT PVR AT THESE POSITION.History and Bio is not much to add a LNB for but thanks anyway maybe I'll take the time to wire it and test it UNLESS SOMEONE COMES UP WITH SOMETHING ELSE!THANKS

Your talking apples and oranges! Limesat is more of a provider (DN, B3V) stb other than an FTA stb. Linear lnb is mostly for FTA and there are a lot more birds to catch, with a motorized unit, over the stationary pizza pans. Same goes for C Band, lots of birds at a lot of different positions. More than enough to satisfy the crowd!
I've got all three and now just have to get into HD so I can get it all!

I would say that they are both.

Use 30Ku for all Ku Band TP's on SES 1
Use 29C for all C Band TP's on SES 1

Many receiver makes provide 2 positions for 1 Satellite, because most Geosynchronous birds have both C & Ku transponders.

There are a few in my Coolsat menu I have had to add; for instance 125W there are two satellite Galaxy 14 & AMC 21, yet in my original menu on the receiver there was one. I watch both C (G14) & Ku (AMC21) so I had to add a position

Re-Read the question and now get the point! A lot of receivers need another spot for dual reception. Point in fact, I have Ku on one system and C and Ku on another. Need to make sat spots on the later for dual programs!!! Have a good day!

Happy Testing!!!

Well my friend, I thought that I understood the question & answered it to the point.

What part did I get confused about? :noidea:

I have to agree with you on this one Gold, question answered fully but I don't like the way this thread is heading but I have to think that CTP means that he read it over again and understands the question(thanks to NP on helping me understand as well).
