Trainer Freddie Roach is telling his fighter Manny Pacquiao to watch the ring tactics of Antonio Margario when they fight on November 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. Roach says the 'Tijuana Tornado' is a 'dirty fighter' who do anything possible to win a fight. Roach wants his boxer to avoid being cut or injured by a Margarito tactic.
"He (Margarito) is a very physical person. We will do anything to win a fight. If allow him (use illegal tactics), he is going to do what he has to do to win. But we're working on it. We hope to stop Margarito's elbows and head butts," Roach said to Sal Rodriguez.
Roach is going to have Pacquiao stay on different angles to not allow himself to become a planted target for Margarito. They will not allow the Mexican boxer to gain any edge in the fight.
"Manny should be situated away from (Margarito). We will use many angles. Margarito's style is not similar to (Oscar) De La Hoya and (Miguel) Cotto, so Manny should not fight him in the same way that he did with Cotto. Margarito is a dirty fighter," said Roach.
