How to Unlock Iphone 3G

I got an used phone at flee market but, the phone is PW lock how do I reset to factory standard so I can use it again? I notice two tiny screws at the bottom. However, i do not want to get any further w/out guidance.

They are already at flea markets - wow.

If you sync it to itunes and then restore it, that will take it to factory.

Then you will want to jailbreak it (amazing youtube tutorials that run you though it step by step. Just search for jailbreak iphone 3g. and be sure you have 3g. most videos will emphasize what the break is for (1g, 2g, 3g, 3gs, etc)

Once its broken and cydia is installed, just youtube unlocking the iphone 3g. Again, easy step by step instructions.

before you jailbreak save a backup copy from your phone just in case you mess up

Do a Restore in itunes that will put it back to factory, unless you changed baseband in which case you will need to create a fake ipsw through ireb or snowbeeze, then hold down shift key while left clicking on restore in itunes and find new ipsw on desktop......you may have to press shift + 8 to see all files.
