- Mr. Anderson had the following to say about a claim by Kurt Angle that their Bound For Glory main event would be match of the year:
"I've said, ever since I came into TNA, that I had something to prove. More to myself than to anyone else. But also to some of my fans, and some of my non-fans out there. Prove that I can do this. And here I am, and I'd have to agree with Kurt that that's what we're going to attempt. We're gonna try to just knock this out of the park. We're gonna pull out all the stops and we really plan on having an excellent match."
