Up for grabs are:

The winner gets A new CNX Nano2

The Rules:

The contest will run for one week.......from Wednesday Oct 20th to Wednesday Oct 27th.......All times are EST

The staff has placed an attachment of a pumpkin in 50 separate posts (see Example1 below)

The posts are distributed throughout the forums and in most cases in current or popular threads......

Find as many as you can

Make a new Text Document and name it (your user name.txt).....for example mine would be NightProwler.txt......... put it where you find it convenient......I would suggest the desktop

When you find a pumpkin copy the post url link (see Example2 below) and paste it into your text document

At the end of the week.....you will have 3 days to upload your text document from Wednesday Oct 27th to Saturday Oct 30th , just make a new thread here: http://www.satfix.net/forumdisplay.php?f=1312 .......don't upload until the contest closes and you see a Post stating to start uploading!!!

In the event of a tie.......each link in our master list will count as points......1st link 50 pts........last link 1 pt..........the most points will be the first tie breaker.....in the event we need a final tie breaker.....it will be according to the time stamp of your posted entries.

If there is a tie a tie breaker was determined before the start of the contest..
Each pumpkin post has a number of points alloted to it the member with the most points wins then..:thumbsup:

I just wanted everyone to know to check their timestamp at the bottom of this page versus your computer's time clock. Mine is actually running 2 minutes ahead of the website. Wouldnt want someone getting disqualified for submitting early ;]

check out Example 2 in first post and thats what you do for every pumpkin you find doesn't matter if they are on same page.

You're copy and pasting the URL of the actual Post, not the thread. Follow the examples on the first post of this thread.

This was a time consuming scavenger hunt to say the least but surprisingly rewarding each time I found one of those dreaded pumpkins! I have a new found hatred for pumpkins now LOL! Oh and not to mention I've also developed carpal tunnel in my right hand and double vision as well hahaha....but it will all be worth it if I win!

Thanks to allelectronics4u for the prizes and especially to the Satfix staff for running this contest. I can only imagine how tedious the validation process must be...eeek

put your mouse cursor at the beginning of a word.....hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse across the word.....let go of the left button...the word will be highlighted....now move the mouse cursor over the word......right click on it.....then you'll see an option of copy....click that.....now....go to your text document...open it....and in the page......right click and choose....paste....;)
