it free to jailbreak the apps are i thank are high. jailbreak software more than likely will work with you phone unless you just downloaded the latest software. once you jailbreak your phone make shower the app you buy will work with the version of software your iphone is running like 4.0.1 or what ever there one thing thats a most it $20 but it let you tern your phone to a wireless mode or free tethering.
