Anyone remember how to use a SV8000 on 8 sats.To set up a diseqc 8 to 1 . I remember reading some where that we had to make use of the receivers usuals.I had a work sheet on it some where and can't find it. A.ny advice or help would be great. TKS.

Need some more info. What type of switch or switches are you going to use? Below is a pic using 2 4x1 DiSEqC switches and a 22KHz switch or a SW21 switch can be used in place of the 22KHz switch. Remember you will need to active the 22KHz settings or the Legacy settings in your receiver's Dish Settings.

Some receivers do have DiSEqC 1.1 settings in which you can use a 8x1 DiSEqC switch. I don't know about the SV8000 but my SV360E does not have 1.1, my CS7000 & MercuryII does have 1.1 settings. Your settings and switches will depend upon your equipment(receiver and/or switches) you use.:yes:

You are right about the 1.1 on SV8000 that is why I was inquiring about using the usuals setting for the 8 to 0ne switch. I am sure I read it some where. Tks. again.
